After earning his medical degree, he completed a rigorous General Surgery Residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, where he developed exceptional technical skills in complex surgical procedures. For five years, he served as the sole surgeon in a rural New Hampshire community, performing everything from emergency surgeries to intricate facial reconstructions for skin cancer patients. This experience taught him the importance of precision, adaptability, and the profound trust patients place in their surgeon. Seeking to combine his surgical expertise with his passion for helping patients feel confident in their bodies, Dr. Ray completed an intensive one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship at Southern Surgical Arts—one of the premier training programs in the Southeast. Under the mentorship of nationally recognized cosmetic surgeons, he mastered advanced body contouring techniques and facial rejuvenation procedures.
